Farmer’s bread

This path is addressed to nursery and elementary school children aiming at letting the children know how it is produced the farmer’s bread of old times called: the “ciaccia sul panaro”.
The path includes the participation of the children during bread-making and cooking on the traditional stone-made tool, directly heated on the fire. The bread just taken out from the cooking tool will be served together with tasty salami and cold pork meat.
The handling is a cognitive instrument and we aim at letting children know the importance of manual skill in food production and enhancing the home-made food genuineness, while the sampling beside being a gratification is aimed at discovering those tastes and flavours that have been lost in this frenetic rhythms life, serving on our tables only pre-packed and frozen food.
